HEALTHY HABITS FOR GLOWING SKIN

Hello guys, we are back with yet another blog, and it is all about skin. We do realize how difficult it is to take care of skin with the change in weather. We all desire for a healthy and glowing skin but only desiring something won’t let you achieve your dreams. Our skin is directly exposed to the environment; Therefore, is prone to many diseases and other issues like blemishes, acne, and wrinkles etc. 

Skin is the largest organ of the human body and works as the outermost covering of the body. It is, hence, really important to keep it safe and healthy. Given below are some ways to take care of skin with just a few small changes in your lifestyle.

EXERCISING

Exercising four times a week can do wonders for your skin, in fact for your whole body for that matter! Exercising increases the blood flow inside your body that balances the functioning of sweat glands. This results in the elimination of harmful toxins. Along with that, it releases natural oils from your body that make your skin look and feel hydrated and healthy. The post workout glow that we talk about is real. It happens because of the increase in blood flow and the release of endorphins.

HEALTHY DIET AND PLENTY WATER INTAKE

Eating foods which are rich in nutrients like Omega-3 fatty acids and other healthy oils, affects the production of collagen in your skin. This results in smoother and suppler skin. It prevents blemishes and works as anti- aging agent. Not just that, a healthy diet also prevents skin cancers like melanoma or carcinoma.

Drinking water is one of the most effective ways to improve the condition of your skin. When you drink lots of water it provides hydration to the skin that has been lost in the form of sweat from your body. This results in instant glow.

TAKE ENOUGH SLEEP

Taking appropriate amount of sleep is another great factor for the condition of your skin. When you don’t take enough sleep, you skin looks ashy and lifeless. Sleep deprivation makes your skin dry and saggy. The blood flow decreases and that can make your skin look drab and dead. When you increase the hours of your sleep, the effects start to appear on your skin and your skin looks more radiant.

THE RIGHT SKINCARE REGIME

Using high end products will not work for your skin until and unless you use the right procedure. You are supposed to start with cleansing your face. Use lukewarm water to wash your face. Don’t scrub your face violently, it won’t exfoliate your skin but will result in inflammation and saggy skin. 

Then, cleanse your skin with the skin that suites your skin the best. It is not necessary to use cleanser at night. Only washing it with water will do the work. 

After cleansing, moisturizing is the next step. It will keep your skin hydrated. 

The last and very important step is to use the SPF after the moisturizer. Using the right SPF can prevent your skin by the damages caused by the sun. You should use a sunscreen with minimum 30 SPF.

By bringing these minute changes in your daily routine, you will be able to get the healthy skin that you’ve always desired of.
